Despre carte

Blending a quirky vibe with traditional techniques, Cross Stitch provides essential know-how and design inspiration for skilled craftspeople and novices. In other words, this isn't your grandma's guide to cross-stitching! The oldest form of embroidery, cross-stitching traditionally is used to make or enhance household items.

But cross-stitched objects also have become part of the art world with many pieces hanging in galleries and museums. Skilled stitchers will love the section in the book devoted to creating unique designs from scratch, and novices will find the section on techniques easy to understand. The fully illustrated guide - which will appeal to both men and women - will enable stitchers to make 12 stylish projects, including: needle cases.
