Modern Quilting

Follow Michael Caputo's tutorials for every skill level to make gorgeous quilts and patchwork with 25 modern designs in an array of colorful fabrics. Quilting is an ancient craft which has many devoted makers eager for modern and innovative ideas, a call which has been answered here. If you’re a beginner, get started with a simple project such as a seat pillow or some bright coasters and placemats, then practice your skills further with a wonderful color wheel mini quilt, to bring an exciting burst of color into any home.

There are full-size quilts which are perfect for more confident quilters, as you can really let your creativity take charge in choosing the fabrics and colors. And don’t forget the reverse—one of Michael’s trademarks is that the wrong side of the quilt is just as splendid as the right side. All the templates you'll need are included and there is a techniques section, as well as clear step-by-step artworks, to guide you. All you need to do is choose some fun fabrics and you’re ready to begin working on these inventive makes.
