The Red House Children’s Book Award este singurul concurs de acest gen din Marea Britanie, în care juriul este format NUMAI din copii. Premiul, fondat în 1980, este decernat anual, iar votarea are loc pe siteul concursului. Procedura de votare este foarte simplă: fiecare din cele 4 cărţi nominalizate (tot de copii) la 3 categorii diferite primeşte o fundiţă căreia îi corespunde un număr de puncte. Prin tehnica “drag & drop”, se trage de fundiţă peste coperta votată şi gata treaba.
